Nilotica Shea Butter

Shea Nilotica East African Shea Butter, is a rare healing butter. Excellent for conditioning the hair, calming scalp irritations and treating brittle dry damaged hair.

Aloe Vera Juice

Moisturizes dry, damaged hair, activates fresh growth in hair follicles, gets rid of dandruff, itchy scalp, and flaky hair, restores the pH level in the hair

Sapote Oil

Softens the hair, helps improve manageability and promotes hair growth. It imparts sheen and is excellent for curly hair

Monoi de Tahiti Oil

Rehydrates the epidermal layers and protects against external damage. It also moisturizes, conditions, repairs damaged Keratin Fibres and adds shine to hair & makes it more tangle free.

Mango Twist - New Formula

In the early days of my natural journey my default hair style was ‘The Twist Out’, every time I this hair style I get so many complements. People as questions like ‘how do you get it so perfect?’ and comments such as ‘flawless’ follow.

I owe my twist out success to the very first product I created, MangoTwist, I wanted something that had more hold than butter and created some sheen on the hair. The ingredients I chose were perfect for this, so why the new formula? I hear you asking, well one of the ingredients I used to create the hold effect was Amaze XT (INCI: Dehydroxanthan gum). If was hard for me to purchase small quantities of this ingredient in the UK, so I was sourcing from a US website that didn’t ship to the UK, so getting hold of it was becoming a laborious task. Best thing was to think of an alternative and while I was at it I wanted to streamline Mango Twist a bit more and see if I couldn’t make it even better!

With the previous formula for optimum results it was best to use it with Moisture Custard, so I wanted to make Mango Twist more moisturising, avoid having to pile on too many products to get a really good twist out and ensure like other products in the range it could be used for more than one of the 6 BEUNIQUE steps.

With the new formula there is no need to use a leave-in conditioner, you can add an oil to your wet hair straight after washing, allow to air dry just a little and then use Mango Twist. Another great thing about the new Mango Twist is that is now comes in a 300g, which is actually cheaper gram for gram than the previous 180g jar.
